Our Story
WestPeak Adventures was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to share Canada's breathtaking wilderness while preserving it for future generations. Founded in 2018 by mountain guide Alexandra Chen and environmental scientist Marcus Rodriguez, our company emerged from their shared passion for sustainable outdoor recreation.
What started as weekend expeditions for friends quickly grew into a respected adventure tourism company. After witnessing the impact of mass tourism on fragile ecosystems during their travels, Alex and Marcus committed to developing a different approach – one that prioritizes environmental stewardship, cultural respect, and authentic wilderness experiences.
Today, WestPeak Adventures is recognized as a leader in sustainable adventure tourism, serving over 2,000 adventurers annually while maintaining our commitment to Leave No Trace principles and supporting local communities across Canada's most spectacular landscapes.

ACMG certified guide with 15+ years experience. Specialist in technical mountaineering and backcountry skiing. Alexandra has guided expeditions across the Canadian Rockies, Coast Mountains, and Arctic regions.
Marcus Rodriguez
Co-Founder & Environmental Director
PhD in Environmental Science, specializing in sustainable tourism impacts. Marcus ensures all our operations meet the highest environmental standards while creating educational opportunities for guests.
Sarah Blackhorse
Cultural Heritage Guide
Member of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, Sarah brings Indigenous knowledge and cultural perspectives to our expeditions. She specializes in traditional plant use, wildlife behavior, and storytelling.
Jake Morrison
Safety Coordinator & Wilderness Medic
Former Search and Rescue specialist with advanced wilderness medical training. Jake oversees safety protocols and provides emergency medical support for all expeditions.
